I have a 1996 4Runner Limited 4WD with the E-locker. Recently when I put it in 4 low and try to lock the rear diff, the light keeps blinking. Also, when standing outside you cannot hear the normal sound of it locking. I checked all the fuses, but to no avail. Any recommendations?

have you tried driving forward slowly with the steering wheel turned. also try going in reverse slowly. try to work it back and forth a little and see if it will lock in.

 

If that doesn't work you need to service the motor. Search on TTORA for how to do it.

Takes 30 min and requires 2 D batteries.
