Thumbs up Wiring complete

Hi fellas,
I used the wiring diagram provided by BruceTS and it worked fine. 96Runner how are you doing with your wiring?
Cheers,
P

No luck yet. I am sending the ECU back to Jim and he is going to verify that the ECU is the problem. I will then go from there.

I sure wish my e-locker was working.

But hey, stuff happens. No biggee. At least I can drive the rig.

I'm gald to hear your success, When I had problems with my locker, I did a lot of research, I found that diagram, had it saved in one of my folders, unfortunately I can't remember who originally posted it or exactly where I got it.

If the ECU turns out to be bad, see if Jim can send it to me, I'll try and fix it. I've had them apart and the circuit isn't that complex.

Thumbs up

Guys-

After much soldering, wire tangles, sweat, and "Christian swearing" , I got the motor to the e-locker to work! I am thrilled!

I started all over while using the KISS principle. It was totally my fault that the thing never worked. So anyway, thanks to everyone who helped out! And thanks to Jim for being a great seller and working with me on the ECU.

It's good to hear that you had everything sorted out. Now, go hit the trails and test it out . Don't forget to post some pics .

WOW, it's about time. I was about to give up on you. Have you wheeled with the locker yet? You will just glide over things that you would have gotten stuck on before.

Well I wish. I actually just finished putting everything back together; all nice and purdy...I drove it in a straight line on the pavement and sure enough, it locked. I turned side to side real quick to make sure the tires would bark at me, and they did. Then I disengaged it, and after half a figure eight it unlocked. The only disappointment I have at this point is that the inline LED I hooked up isn't working . Considering that I have experience with e-lockers (I had a Taco LTD TRD for a couple years) I am not too worried about accidentally driving with it on or anything. I will get to that later. I am just glad this thing is finally working!

So yeah, I have wheeled with a locker before, and man do I miss it. It really helps out here in AZ to get over all those whooptie do's that the open diff guys burn into the climbs...

what a relief!

Good to hear you have sorted things out! Time for the testing phase to commence!
