This is the best install pics I could find but as you can see this is the old cable locker lever the new one is more advanced

They have updated their locker calbe and it looks much better than the last in my opinion.

I had a '98 Taco with a factory installed e-locker, as I remember it sometimes pissed me off that it engaged slowly(light blinks until its locked and is steady when its engaged).
If you have some type of backyard engineering switching it on and off I would assume that it may be possible to be slower to engage.
As a matter of fact there was one time that it would not lock at all, just kept blinking while on a trail ride with PA-TTORA, after we stopped for lunch, it engaged, don't know why.

Perfect just needed a little bit of a visual!!

try connecting the elocker directly to a battery. Get under the truck, unplug the big plug just beside the locker and make a bridge between the ends. If your locker moves, the problem is the harness.
