Are you just stitting still when enguageing it? Try moving a little bit forward while it is enguaging.

Could be one of several problems but most likley your locker motor is broken and needs to be rebuilt there is a write up about how to rebuild it around here somewhere just do a search. Replacing the motor all together would cost you more than it's worth. And if you don't want to mess with the electric crap anymore like me I would recomend http://www.downeyoff-road.com/Chassi...s/Lockers.html look at the bottom of that page. It pretty much makes your E-Locker a manual locker by form of cable. I ran one on my old rig and never had an issue.

I was having a problem with mine 2 weeks ago as it was submerged in frozen watter most of the day and i think something internally froze itself. Afterwards i was still having issues getting it to engage. Somebody recomended to try driving in a figure-8 pattern to help it. I did this and was able to engage it, after doing that a couple of times i stopped having engagement issues for the most part.

might not fix it.
you could put it in 4 lo, put the rear axle up on jacks, engage the locker and see if you can get it to lock under no load situations. if not, then the motor is most likely toast. if you can, then you need to try the tricks to get it to lock. like steering from side to side, etc.

I thought mine was broken for sure until I did the wire mod. After that it still took some coaxing to get the locker to engage. It just doesn't want to do it on pavement or in a straight line - you really need to make a turn. Put it up on stands and it will engage fine - how often does the internal motor break anyway? It's probably fine.

Try what these other guys have suggested, put it in 4 lo (in the dirt of course) and drive slowly in a figure eight pattern. If the light doesn't stop blinking, after a few minutes, then you do have an engagement issue. If that's the case, it may need a rebuild, which isn't THAT big of a deal, or you have an electrical issue.
