E-brake light coming on randomly...help!

Well, lately my e-brake light has been coming off and on. It only happens when I accelerate into turns though, not while braking.
I check to make sure my e-brake isnt set, and its not, so what could be the cause of this? The light usually stays on for 5-10 seconds and goes away on its own.
I know that I need new rotors but would this cause the brake light to come on? It didnt do it last time I needed them.

T-Diddy might need AA counseling (jk) and most likely would win that bet. I'm not a mechanic, but that's what happened to me when my brake fluid was low. You should've bet a 6 pack while you were at it.

You know what, you guys are probably right....I had to bleed my brakes a week ago after putting my 3rd member back on. The fluid didnt appear to be low afterwards so I didnt add any. Can it still be too low even if its right at the max line?

edit: Its not at the max, its right between low and max.

I have the same thing in my runner, I jsut figured it was because of the e-brake extender? Does anyone else have the extender and the phantom light?

I doubt its the brake pads, at least I hope....they were practically brand new when I bought it about 10 months ago.
I'll go ahead and add more fluid though....can't hurt. Thanks for all the replies, and Tdiddy....I prolly owe you a beer!

Thats what I thought too at first. I had to disconnect my e-brake to take off my 3rd member awhile ago, and the light didnt start coming on randomly untill after I reattatched it. It's really simple to do though, so I dunno why it would trigger the light. I'm betting its my fluid, I'll fill it up later and let you know if it helps.

I need help too, my brake light has been on for about a year now, can't figure out what the problem is... Changed the master cylinder, bled brakes, checked pads, can't debug
