Dynomax..finally!
Well..life is good....as i have now joined the elite and got myself a dynomax super turbo muffler installed today. The sound is oh so nice...i didnt dare to turn the radio on so as not to disturb the sweet tone. Its really the perfect sound ..not too loud ..not too quiet...just perfect in my opinion..having installed the amsoil last week...i just need to get the deck plate mod done and i should be good for a while..

Sounds good Bruce. Hey I just noticed in your sig file you have the MP70 head unit. I looked at that earlier in the year and did some research on it.
It's one heck of a nice unit. I have the Sony M650 and love it, but I want the extra features to be able to play the raw MP3 files.
The only thing I did not like when I demo'd the unit was no push buttons for the presets. You must select then by rotating the right knob one click at a time I believe.
Have you got use to it and that method seems to work out good for you?
That will probably be my next deck.
I know what you mean about having the tunes off sometimes as I like to listen to my exhaust too.

Yeah..im all about driving with the windows down right now to hear that sweet exhaust note..deck plate mod done hopefully by the weekend....
Corey....I understand that not having the preset buttons can be a drag and i actually did consider it before going with the sony..i was actually deciding between the sony MP-70 or the pioneer premier DEH-P840MP. Personally .and i know this may sound funny to you ...i wanted a cool looking mp3 player with good shock protection for the occassional off road excursions....so i went with the sony..i guess prior sony experience had something to do with it also......its not so bad not having the preset buttons because you switch between presets with the knob on the right..and seek with the buttons under the knob. In all honesty though....my biggest motivator was getting a deck with a remote...because ....yes ..ill admit it.......im that lazy sometimes that switching stations manually becomes annoying ...
life is much cooler with a remote.

Congrats on the Dynomax, I know I love mine.
I even had the wife turn down the radio one day to listen to the tone! (she's finally understanding the mod disease)
One tip on the deck plate mod; attach a screen to it.(on the inside with a hose clamp)
I didnt do this during the initial install and it was a pain in the ass to add later.
For an extra couple of bucks the screen is well worth it, it keeps out all the crud.
