Its your runner. If you wanna do it...DO IT. You gotta live with it.
BUT they will NOT hold up if you land on a rock or a log while playing off road. I used to work at a RV manfacturing plant. They put those on evey coach we built. They looked cool, worked great, but they are pretty jenky.
Your runner looks good!
Love your mod list!!

As far as the coolness factor... I have always liked the servo-style nerf bars. I don't like the steps as much, but they are OK too. SUPER expensive for the nerf style bars... upwards of $1200 for a full sized American truck like a Dodge or Ford. As far as practicality for wheelin', they would suck. First off, if you hit something (a big ˟˟˟˟˟˟ rock), they would buckle under the pressure. Second, what happens if the bottom of your door is mere inches away from a rock or you get stuck in mud up to your door and need to open it? What would happen to the step? The motor would probably blow up from not being able to move while still trying to.

I don't know... there are 2 edges of that sword. For me, they would work fine since I don't / won't do any of the wheelin' that would damage my truck. But if you plan on it, then I'd buy a nice set of sliders and call it a day.
