Drivers side needle bearing ecgs tool ?

Does anyone local in Orange County area have a ecgs bearing puller tool I can borrow ? Would be much appreciated. Car has been down for two days already !

or do you got any tips on how to remove the bearing without the tool. I rented a puller an it still won't come out ? This is my first time ever messing with the needle bearing ..so any advice Is appreciated thanks !

Do you intend to install the ECGS bushing?

This OTC slide hammer puller got mine out. Took a few tries. Really had to crank down on it to get it tight, and then whale on the slide.

I installed the ECGS bushing today. I’ll post some thoughts & pics in the next few days.

Did you have any issues that caused you to replace this? Or did you see it just as a maintenance item?

My driver’s side CV joint had a significant amount of play. Although I installed a new set of Toyota remanufactured CV axles last year, the front diff still has 454,000 miles on it.

With the ECGS bushing in place, there is zero play at the inboard CV joint. The next day I put 400+ miles on it, 30 of which were driving on the beach. No issues.
