Drilling holes in the Floor Board / Rear Seat Foot Panel

Drilling holes in the Floor Board / Rear Seat Foot Panel

I was just about to drill holes through the floor board to mount a lock box with some carriage bolts .... anything that I should be aware of here ..... I have not drilled through them as of yet and was hoping someone has and could give me a heads up on any complications.....

Recommend putting a rubber sleeve to dampen any noise and using some marine sealant to keep out the elements/rodents. Depending on where you drill just caution of any nearby wiring/ plastic components like fuel tank, or hoses/lines below.
