Dreaded axle leak - updated with pictures

I tried to update my earlier post and did not think I did it correctly so I am trying with a new post. If this is innapropriate then the moderators can correct it to meet the rules. I thought the leak was on the back of the brake backing plate but I had much better light today. The leak is behind the plate with lug nuts. The shoes seem fine. Here are a few pics. Is this what the axle leak looks like early on or is something else wrong? The brake cylinder seemed fine

If your brake cylinder was fine, then its the axle seal.
