Dr. Z????

Hey John,
I am not going to be around as much in the past, due to a job change. Also, Baseball season is upon us and I am the 3rd Coach and Stats Keeper for my son's team, which keeps me pretty busy as well. On my days off, I don't spend too much time in front of the computer, but I will be dropping in here occaisionally.
How'd the mod go? Inquiring minds want to know! Pics man, pics!
Peace!

I will post pictures later this week when i get my camera back, long story. . .
as far as the results:
1. better response when i mash the throttle
2. more agressive sound from the intake, as i removed the elbow completely.
3. with the combo of a new downey header, and my flowmaster exhaust, my motor breaths alot free'er (SP)
Story time!!!!
I went up to my buddies house north of Pittsburgh this weekend, I took my quad and my buudies on a trailer behind my truck. Before i left on my little road trip i was able to get the isr mod complete much to my mechanics displeasure
needless to say he said "well i wouldn't recomend doing that", anyway back to the story, i noticed improved throtlle response increased as well as she seemed to struggle alot less as i drove up the hills. so my buddy started out towing the trailor behiond his jeep, you know the best vehicle made, yeah right!!!, well anyway before we were 70 miles down the road he had to pull over and i towed the trailor with no problem up and down the mountains on the PA. turn-pike.
I used pvc for my intake pipe over the motor, in order to make the pipe the correct size i used 2 2"-3" reducers, the 2" side was the perfect size to fit in the original rubber couplers on the motor. i relocate both lines by tapping into the hose from the intake to the airbox i just cappewd off the fpr i believe it is called it goes to the "gold" looking thing than disapears into the bottom of my motor.
within the next few weeks i am going to try the deckplate mod. hopefully that will increase my airflow even more and enable me to gain a few more horses total. I also am trying to get over to the shop that did my exhaust work and see if they can fab me a new intake from stainless steel piping.
