My stock tires were about bald and its snowing around here so I threw the new tires and wheels on (the Eagles did clear the calipers )

The front is only rubbing when at full crank and I haven't had any issues with the rear. All I've done so far is a little snow wheeling so nothing too extreme, but I'm wondering now if I should have gone with the 906's instead of the 890's... Guess I'll have to wait till my Hoe's show up and stick them on there and take a look.

 

If you still have your stock springs in front with 890's in the rear it can be quite a shock since the lift in the rear will be pretty significant when compared to a stock front ride height. As long as you can get about 2" up front with the Donahoes, which I'm sure you can since they are adjustable, you'll be fine. Don't let the dragster look scare you. If the 890's are too much, you can always sell them and get 906's.....I guarantee there will be plenty of takers.

 

The rear coils and shocks are sitting in their boxes next to me still. I'm just a little worried that after the new stuff goes on and I gain a couple of inches that my tires are going to look small since they are clearing for the most part now all stock. Granted they do look pretty stuffed, especially with all the snow filling the rest of the wheel wells...

Let me clarify... With the use of a washer (about as thick as a nickel) on each stud I cleared the front calipers.

 

thats what i did for a day..i would not drive that truck...how many turns does it take to get you lugs tight...also the rims are not sitting flush with the hub they will loosen up......at least grind your calipers or get a wheel spacer with longer studs

 

Thats the same setup I had to use to run those wheels on my Tacoma now that I think about it. I ran it like that for almost 3 years with no problems, but I'll agree that it isn't the best way to go about it.
A smart person would have remembered that before hand and bought differnet wheels this time around...

 

Washers on the lugs sounds like a bit of a scary setup to me too, but if it works for you, go for it.
I think I probably would have tried to grind the calipers to fit myself.

 

After a very small amount of grinding they now fit without the washers Thanks for the heads up guys. I really didn't think much about it until you got on my case
