It doesn't have to be Toyota. I have never bought a Toyota PCV valve in 10+ years of owning Toyota trucks and have never had a problem with aftermarket ones.

I prefer to use OEM parts, but you will be ok with an aftermarket one.

what engine are you workign on?

3vze = . there is an intake manifold in the way of changing it . I beleive the PCV valce is causing my excessive oil burning.

Whoo Hooo...changed out the pcv Valve in about 1/2 Hour on my 3.slow...also did the Marvel Mystery oil treatment from the brake booster line...I can smoke the tires now!!!! Also a long time problem (before PCV and MMO)...Can anyone tell me why I get an idiot light intermitently??? I pulled the code think it is a 71...I have done most everything and ohmed everything according to the FSM....Seems like the light goes out most when running high test gasoline.....do I need to change out the o2 sensor?
