man, just sand the rust areas and touch them up with spray paint and call it a day. To avoid rust issues just hose them off every once and a while. Honestly the spring is going to be shot in terms of wear before it breaks because of rust fatique, unless you expect springs to last forever. Im not saying you cant powdercoat them or that it wouldnt help protect them but come on.. you might as well just powder coat your whole truck.

Taco....you're gonna make me build a bigger oven now aren't you! Seriously though guys....springs come from the factory powder coated for a reason....I guess I'm just wasting my breath when I say powder coat is just a tad bit more durable than skeeter bombing the things. My opinion...he has a nice looking 4Runner...why rattle can things when you can have extra protection and cosmetically pretty? I guess I believe in do it right the first time....why have to look at it and say...god that looks crappy....I dunno..

Turn the KV's of the gun at the optimum setting....the static electricity "wraps" the powder around.
