Do I need the Road Hazard Warranty?
I'm finally buying a new set of 5 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos (265 70R16) for my 4Runner this week. (One extra for the spare)
Should I kick in the extra dough for the RHW?
Any comments?
thanks!

I'd say get it, my old rig (expedition), had a blow out and it shreded the tire (going 80+), anyway it came with the road hazard from the dealer and they replaced the tire for free. Otherwise i would have been out a lot of money seeing that the tire was a top of the line goodyear.

Since most places that charge for the warranty only charge $5-$10 per tire, get it! Even if they pro-rate the replacement, that's a lot less $$ out of your pocket, especially when the tires are beyond the point where you really should replace them in pairs.

YES definateley, it payed for it's self twice now, once for an offroad mistake, and secon for someone slashing one of my tires, so I have had 2 , $145 tires replaced for free, no questions asked, but I know the guy at Merchants so I always tell him any ways, so we can have a good laugh.

I just paid an extra 80 bucks for some lifetime thing from discount tire, they'll replace my tires no matter what happens as long as I have them on the rig. I already had road hazard, but that didn't really cover off-roading i do'nt think and was only until 40k miles.
I guess it was worth it.
