DIY temporary allignment ?

I read Roger's excellent article.

Anyone done a DIY allignment on a 3rd gen after a lift just to get the thing close until you can get a computer allignment ?

Any tips ? I am worried about how much I would have to move the cams as I am guessing, I will just be moving the lower arms out to compensate for the strut being 2" longer.

The only kind I've ever done is with a tape measure and some eyeballing, just to get to the alignment shop... You might consider trying to use a level or something to see how perpandicular your tires are to the ground... You probably will only be able to get it close enough to drive to the alignment shop, not for driving around on errands and stuff, unless you want some tire wear.

I do all my own alignments, it's quite simple. 2 straight edges, hold them against each tire and use a tape measure.

Camber might be do-able, but what about tow-in/out?

If you got patience like Bruce, you can do it

you can get a level, a square, a tape measure, and two long straight edges and do it yourself...
