Dirt catcher

I was washing my toy today, and I found a whole bunch of dirt and blasted it out. With the front door open, blast a solid stream of water in the bootm crack between the door and body into the rear of the front fender. So much crap came out it messed up my driveway. Did both sides, and probably lost 2 pounds of dirt.

Wow that is a good idea. I have noticed that dark dingy hole before when wiping down my door sills and wonered what lurked in there. If I was you after spraying out all the crap I would look for the drain hole because it's probably plugged now after all that stuff came out. You don't want moisture accumulating in there. Also another place I found on my 2nd Gen was the seal on the big side windows. There is a little dimple in the rubber seal on both the front and back on the bottom edge. If you spray a stream of water straight onto just one or the other nasty crap spewed out of the opposite one. I sprayed for a good 10 minutes on each side before dirt stopped rolling out. How dirt get's behind that seal is beyond me
