direct replacement horn? - 1st gen 4r

Anybody know of a direct replacement horn for a 1988 4runner? I don't really feel like rewiring or mounting new horns. I just want something a little louder with a different sound. I would prefer Hella. BTW, I have already searched and did not find what I was looking for.

any horn is direct replacement as long as it fits...all you have to do is slice of the OEM yota connectors wichi nobody will use and solder in the new horns and bolt them where the old ones went...

its really easy.....

How many horns are there under there? I haven't looked yet. Just wondering why so many of the Hellas advertised come with 2 horns?

1st gen has one on the passenger side behind the front grille. It is very easy to replace.

You could use a flat disc type horn or a trupet style if you can get creative with mounting.

I hated the tinney sound of the stock horn, too, and found that a Supra horn works great. I tapped into the stock hot wire to power both horns (Supra's have 2), and grounded each separately.
