diffrence between shocks?

difference between shocks?
does anyone know why Double Cab Tacomas have shorter shocks than reg cabs and extra cabs. i need to know if i can just swap out the front suspension for the suspension on a extra cab or reg. cab thanks

i plan on getting the 3 inch cornfed lift tomorrow and David (from confed suspension) said i will have to get new shocks in the front to get the full 3 inches out of the lift because the double cab ones are short.
