Different look to 4runner...

Saw this while surfing. I think it looks cool. What does everyone else think?

ive always hated that grill on the taco's.

hate it even more on the 4runner.

though i have to say, its definately something you would never see again, and i do think it looks pretty good in that respect.

now that i look at it more, its kinda nice. but still not really my cup of tea.

I like it, but it'd look better on an actually "modded vehicle".

Very well done. But as stated above I do not like the taco grill. If I were to do this swap I hope it would come out as smooth and flawless as this one appears to be

Youre right! if this thing was lifted with a big bumper, it wouldnt look as busy.

Yuck I don't like it

Could be I'm a snob, but the 2000-2002 4Runner front ends look the best to me, except for the bulbous front bumper... I'd be interested in seeing some 4th gen components grafted on to a 3rd gen, that or perhaps some Tundra stuff.

It was only a matter of time before someone got this bright idea!

At least it looks clean, and his truck is one of a kind.

Not bad but I'm glad Toyota keeps their noses different on all their trucks unlike what Nissan has done with the same frontend on all their SUVs.

thumbs up from me maybe not so much with a big bumper, but with all pro tubage or something like that. im always a fan of front end swaps. that mini truck looks like its got a swap on it too..

definitely a different look. never used to like those taco front ends, but i love em now. would even look killer with a satoshi like someone off here did a while back...

i've seen this done before here in town, it is white 3rd gen with the same front end. that thing is awsome though because it's setting 36-37"s with a full rock cage. i will try to snap a pic of it next time i see it.

There was one for sale on Craig's List in NV a few months ago. It was black with a full internal cage, custom dash/gauges, racing seats, Total Chaos IFS, 33's or 35's, built for desert whomping but still street legal. It looked 10 times better than the one above.
