Differences on '93 and '94/'95 22res? AFM's?

I'm positive I read on here somewhere about there being some sort of difference in the 22res after 1993. I thought it had something to do with the plenum, and went through a whole pile of posts with "plenum" in them to come up empty handed.
Anybody know what the difference is? Did they do away with that damn box that chokes the wind out of the motor by any chance and go with the circular version AFM?
I may be going on a short trip to this weekend which may include buying a '93 4Runner, but I would consider waiting for a '94/95 to show up if I could get away from the box.

The upper plenum and throttlebody changed in '89 and stayed the same up to '95. AFAIK, there weren't any major differences since 85-95 22R/RE heads are the same. I'd imagine some of the emission parts and wiring might be different.

the only difference i've heard of is the addition of sequential fuel injection in 1992, although i have no idea what that is...

I think it is at first the fuel injection was one injector that then dispersed through the runners of the intake manifold, than later one makers had dual point fuel injection (DPFI) which was just 2 injectors same purpose, and then there is multi-port fuel injection (mpfi) which is an injector per cylinder, thats probably what sequential is, at least wiht hondas its like that on the early ones, in 91 I know the civic LX had the cheesy fuel injection setup.

I hope there isn't any differences, that would cause alot of problems for me when I pull the 22re out of my 2wd parts truck, rebuild it, and drop it in my truck.
