difference in ECT part numbers

Hi,
I have a 1986 4runner with 22R-E motor and automatic transmission. I am having shifting problems and I possibly have a bad ECT module. The part number on my ECT is 89530-35050. I am about to purchase an ECT from a 1988 4runner with auto tranny. The part number on this ECT is 89530-35060. Does anyone know what the difference is between the ECT 89530-35050 and 89530-35060?
Thanks,
David

the ect on my 85 auto tranny was screwed up so i stuck one out of an 86 turbo truck in, it seems to work fine, if the trannys are the same then i think it should work.

It'll more than likely work, just check the connectors cause they do change them year to year for some reason.

Did it work? I'm looking for an ECM for my 86 RT, part 35050, if anyone has one around or knows which would work well. I currently have an RE ECM in it, but the fuel map must be way off under throttle, it's running poorly. The original ECM was just starting and dying a few seconds later, so the RE ECU is better, but far from ideal. Anyone have one to sell or trade?
