Death to TRD S/C :(
#21
I have to say, after several miles on my s/c, I went to change the oil in it. When I removed the old, original oil, I found very little oil in there. I was very suprised how little was in there compared to what TRD had in the replacement bottle. Just a thought...

you could always try and call magnusen to see if they can rebuild it or these guys.

Yes i thought about just sanding it down and replacing the bearing...and i might just do that, get a 5psi pulley and it will most likly produce about that much.
For now i need the casing to use as a template....
No engine swap for me...my 5vz will NEVER leave me...it is by far my most fav toyota engine ever! Thats why i put it in my mr2 as well
Veilside dont forget the countless tests i have done with timing and fuel with LOTS of detonation when water injection went and all that....this engine is just unstopable....now lets see if it will handle 500whp in the mr2....or 7000rpm in the other mr2. I already hit 6000rpm rev'ving it bold enough to say its the first ever 5vz to roll over 5500rpm? (not from toyota that is)
