Dashboard lights not working

Dashboard lights not working
I have a 2001 4runnner ...I need some help ....I installed a after market unit last week. and i hook the illumination wire. i kept blowing the tail light fuse. is a 10 fuse. i replaced it with a 20. before i found out the illumination wire was not supposse to be hook. i fixed that problem...but now my dashboad lights dont work.... can some one help please....thx
