Depends how crafty you are. With 2 under my belt, I could do it properly (R&R) in 45 minutes. That includes a thorough cleaning of the airbox for plastic dust.

In the beginning it took me about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Is there a need to close the deckplate if its raining hard or just raining at all? Or do i just need to close it if i plan on making a water crossing? Also do i need to take out the check engine light fuse if i have both the deck plate and hte ISR mod?

No and no. Just close it during water crossings.

I assume you are talking about the EFI fuse? Yes, after any mods you should reset the ECU. I just pull the - batt cable. But, that resets the Radio. Doesnt matter either way, your ECU will adjust after time no matter what.
