CV Axle problem

Hey guys, just finished putting an aussie locker in the front of my runner(which I HIGHLY suggest, it is amazing!). Anyways, got it all back together with amsoil, only to hear a pop when i put it in 4wd after a while and I believe I was taking a turn. I look under, and only notice it seems like my cv has just popped out right behind the snap ring.....i think no big deal, ill pop it back on, so I do, and same thing happens. After wheeling, I check for leaks, and there are still no leaks or anything of that sort, so I thought I would just take the wheel and hub nut off and pop it back in, since pressure might be pulling it out.....I did all of this, and it still pops out in 4wd. Any ideas as to why? Maybe a bad snap ring? Thanks! Also, why wouldn't it be leaking, because I had NO leaks from a full day of wheeling(it's the cv on the drivers side of the diff.)

Hmmm...not sure...probably time to just replace the CV axle and get it over with.

Take it back and get a replacement because the c-clip on it is bad.
Before you do that you can also try expanding the c-clip and see if that makes it hold better.

Did you get it from advance auto parts? i've had trouble with axles that were a little short from them before that did the same thing.
