Custom Bumper

Finally got my new rear bumper in place. Steve Schaefer at Sonoran Steel made it for me. (vendor section) This thing is SOLID. The way 1st gens are set up with rear leaf springs prevented Steve from building it like a box as he did on the 3rd gens, so he made it out of 1/4" steel instead of 3/8. Can't wait to try it out!! Here's a link to the thread under the vendor section for pics.

Almost blends in too well to the stock look for such a nice piece.

That looks really nice! Steve's got some great skills and it sounds like he's excited about his new business! How much did it run you?

Talking Under the rig

What is that under your rig in the last pic? Looks like a top notch rear bumper! I want one!

Those are sliders (Stubbs) awaiting install under the rig. Probably install sometime next week (then more pics!!!) Unfortunately my welder (Schaefer) felt it was more important to vacation in Cancun this week than stay home and work

Jokeplayer, cost was $650. Another $100 to powdercoat if one chooses.
