Curb Idle is 1000 RPM (Warm)
My engine warm Curb Idle speed was always 750 RPM (850 RPM with the A/C on). Lately it is 1000 RPM (1100 RPM with the A/C on). No MIL illuminated; and engine runs as usual except for the elevated Curb Idle. Would like to get it back down to specs. Is this caused by a defective IAC Valve? I have cleaned the intake with Air Intake Cleaner (with no change).
Thanks;

mine does it too sometimes even after driving 30 plus miles. but mine does stay idled near 1000 esp with the ac running and the motor fan running too. to me its not a big deal.

Not a major problem; but am using a little more gas than I need to, while sitting in traffic. The FSM shows how to test the IAC Valve for resistance with VOM; I'll get to it some time this winter. Not really eager to replace the thing; as it is about a $175.00 part!
