Looks like it's on a custom cradle tied into the frame, much like the Warn winch mount does.

 

He has really done some cool stuff to that rig. I really like the custom intercooler and the inclinometer he mounted. If only I could read everything on his site...Spanish 3 in high school didn't get me that far!
