Control Module

I was on ebay and came across this control module.

What do you all think? Has anybody had any luck with something like this? How much would it affect gas mileage?

its a resistor that changes the one of the sensors...we used to do it on lt1 and ls1 cars all the time find out the resistor and you can do it for less than a dollar....i am not sure how it will work on these rigs
