Connector Rod

Got a knocking connector rod it seems. Might be a bearing.
What's the best bet....dig into the engine and fix it? Find a good low mileage used 3.0? Or swap with the 3.4?

Well first of all, are you sure that's what it is? Did someone scope it?

Long story short...spun my clutch, engine over-reved, picked up a low end knock. Mechanic says when you pull the #4 plug wire the knock goes away.

Gadget: The plane is an ultralight. RANS Coyote SE-6. They have a website http://www.rans.com I've had it for 12 years now. It's my other daily driver
