Conical bumpstops on 3rd gen 4Runner
Hi,
How are these bumpstops attached on the 3rd gen 4Runner? I undertstand that these are for the 1998 and later 4Runners (according to the Toyota EPC).
I was wondering if these can be installed on the 1996-97 models?
Thanks.

yes, they can, as a matter of fact they may or not have been allready due to a safety recall. The are fairly easy to pull off, but my question is why???? If you have a lift, they arent going to do anything. Get the SOnoran Steel Dropped Bump stops. Thats what I did, and I hacked up my conical bump stops to make a rear .5" spacer.

So I guess I won't be needing them.
Thanks again!
