Question Common reasons for CEL?

What are some other common causes for a check engine light?

I cleaned my MAF, cleaned the throttle body, the Amsoil has very little to no excess oil, my coolant level is above the full level...

anything else?

O2 sensor is quite common but pull the codes or you may spend money needlessly.
If you need a reader check out my sig.

Interesting...

I'll have to look into the O2 sensor and the PDA thing.
Thanks!

Post what you get for codes (ie code numbers) and we'll help you get it fixed.
That reader is awesome for $200 on eBay but if you prefer a laptop one for $90, here ya go:

I love the PDA one for portability alone.

Check these guys out. I used the OBD2 logger which cost about 180 bucks, and it worked great. Used it on my OBD2 Talon turbo, and hooked it up to a Celica and worked just fine there. It seems to be much cheaper than the others that I've seen and it worked great for me. Just a though.

Since I'm starting to seriously consider selling my truck, I may just take it to a dealership and have them look at it and fix it professionally so I have that little sheet of paper

Still, I do have a Visor Edge PDA and it sounds like a handy thing to have...

I have not seen anyone with this one yet but I am sure it is very similar in function but I bet the software will be the difference. The Auterra has the best support I have seen and are constantly improving their software (the datalogger appears to have alot of PDAs that it does not work with!!!). I tried to get the datalogger software to try it out but you need to buy it first. The Auterra let's you download the software all you want.....I would urge you to give it a try because if you don't like it you didn't spend a penny. The Auterra can also be had off eBay for $160-190 if you are patient. There are also quite a few members on here that have the Auterra too......don't just take my word for it.
