im gonna snag a grill guard for my runner as soon as i get the new bumper from ALBPM and was wondering what you guys think would look best on my ride..............

on a side note their would be matching sidesteps and chrome wheels comming sometime soon.

The big question is.....
How hard is it going to be to put my 02 Bumper on dexter's 96 Runner?????

I looked and counted 6 bolts on each side of mine holding the stock bumper on. 4 of those bolts are in the flange on the end of the frame rail on each side. I don't think the 96 has these flanges.


I got my ARB Bumper delivered yesterday. It was wedged standing on end in the entryway of my house. It was strapped to a smashed pallet with a single strand of plastic strapping.....LOL

The Hellas were wedged in with the bumper and miraculously survived

* I checked the box with the 2000 parts and all seems to be there.
* I got a Chicago Electric 4.5" Angle Grinder and some cutting disks last weekend.
* I found my 1/2" drill bits and am ready to install this weekend.

For the Hellas I went out and got a 6 gang fuse box,10 gauge wire, and a mini fuse blade holder to come off of the battery. This way I'll be set for any other future Mods.

 

i talked to a guy and 4 of the bolts line up. this guy has a websie showing how he did it. then you have to weld a strip in the front to secure it since the front most 2 holes dont line up.

well its a metalic blue 4runner with black tint and everything else is black. would black tubesteps and a black gril guard look bad with chrome wheels?? im pretty sure thats a bling bling no-no

my grill is chrome with the grey interior. im thinkin about getting a new billet grill or a 99+ grill because all the cfrome on mine is chipped and the grey interior color looks fugly
