My 99 4runner auto will not let the transmission shift past 2nd gear until the motor has reached a certain temp. The motor will just keep revving, but the tranny wont shift. Of course, i dont do that, i just let it idle for about a minute, and by the time im getting out of the neighborhood, the motor is warmed up enough to shift past 2nd. I dont think this is a problem, rather its designed that way.

But the TSB are for 97 4runner, mine is 97 T100. Same transmission and engine combo so I'm thinking if there was a TSB for 4 runner gearbox/engine combo A340E/3.4L V6, it would be there. I've heard of a TSB EG025-02 that comes closer to my shift problem. Can you connect me there?
