Clutch/ MC Woes

Hey all,

I've recently had some troubles with consistantly shifting smoothly and have noticed changes in the feel of my clutch. Examples are, when I push in the clutch, I often feel like Im pushing "through" something that is giving some feedback and resistence. Occasionally a gear will grind a bit when I try to engage it.
A few times I have noticed while maintaining a steady speed that the truck will stumble for a half second and then its normal. Nothing major, but I notice it. When this happens, the RPMs dont fall, leading me to suspect something with the clutch staying disengaged or something like that.
Today while stopping at a light, I had the truck in gear and the clutch depressed and held to the floor. While I was holding it, I could feel a kind of "pulse" or "tapping" through the pedal. It was regulated (not sporadic) and kept on even when I took it out of gear..

Im not especially educated on the mechanical workings of manual transmissions but I dont like whats going on so far.. I suspect its the master cylinder and/or dirty fluid.. Please help me out here before I have an anxiety attack about being stranded somewhere or being out alot of $$ in repairs. Thanks...

Slave cylinder might be going. Could also be a worn clutch, or you might be out of or low on fluid.
