3VZE Woes Part III

Please note my two previous posts.

Prognosis has been narrowed down to re-doing the heads and putting in a new head gasket.... burnt valve on cylinder #6.

? What is a good estimate on what to expect to pay to have the heads done?

? Is this worth it? The 4Runner is in great shape, but what about the lower ends of the 3VZE?

I got my heads rebuilt for about $300 - $350. My runner only had 170k miles on it so I trust that the lower end will last another 100k. If I had as many miles as you do I think I'd get the lower end rebuilt while I got the heads off. I really have no idea how long the lower end on these 3.0s last.
