Clutch burned no chatter

Hi
After forcing my 99 4runner through deep snow constantly getting stuck I hadburned the clutch by the time I gave up going any futher. It now chatters a fair bit going into first (2-5th gears are fine). It doesn't slip but still smells a bit when in traffic. I got 150K on it, but I don't want to change it yet if it is not needed. Could I just have glazed it a (fair) bit and if so will it get better with time and use. How can I check if it is too far gone?

Thanks

The flywheel is probley covered with hot spots. You can probley nurse it around for a while, but it is going to need replaced sooner or latter.

And those hotspots will persist or get "worn off" with use? It had a bit of this when I originally got it but it went away with use. Maybe at a 150K that is too much to ask
