Closer 'n Closer...
I just received my aluminum rocker assembly from the Brown-Shirt-Guy today, and I picked up the (generally despised) Weber adapter plates/linkage kit last friday.
All I need to do now is score a 2WD truck oil pan/pick-up (the pan from my doner engine is for a car) and some gaskets, and I'm ready to begin assembly!
Oh.. and I found out last night that I have no (ZE-ro, zilch, nada) advance on my dizzy!
Both vacuume and mechanical advance systems are non-functional for some reason. I'm running with approx 16*BTDC fixed timing. Mebbe that's why this thing is hard to startand falls flat on it's face at 3 grand? 
Ah well.. I still get 21 MPG freeway, so I guess I can't complain too bad.
