Clockspring or Spiral Cable?

Clockspring or Spiral Cable?

The wires to my horn broke whil turning the wheel when they steering linkage was disconnected. I need to find the Clockspring. Is the clockspirng and the spiral cable the same part? Id like to repair the part, anyone know how to do this? thanks guys

they are the same part-be careful-very expensive system to worry about damaging

yeah its is expensive. itll probably be around 180- 200 for your truck. i have to replace mine this weekend that i just orderd from toyotaparts4u.

ok good, now that i know what it is, How can i safely remove it, and does anyone know how to repair this piece? I just need to fix the wires that are broken inside of it.
