Climate control

i recently replaced the green bulbs with blue led's. looks good. but there is a problem. now my temperature stays hot. i took this thing apart 10 or more times and never had an issue until the last time. the ribbon wire that holds the two boards together came undone and the blue plastic cover on the exposed wires came off. i bent some of the wires and straightened them out as best i could. got it all hooked up and now the temperature that comes out of the vents is only hot. i have the manual climate sontrol unit (the one with the 3 knobs) the two buttons (a/c and the other) will not light up when i press them, and of course the temp will not change. does anyone know where i can get a replacement ribbon wire? i know how confusing my post may sound, but i have no other way of explaining it. im gonna take it apart and try to post some pictures to show you what im talking about. with summer on the way i GOTTA get this thing back on track with the a/c. please help!

The temp could just be a coincidence.

Mine does that from time to time. If I smoothly but firmly turn the dial back and forth a few times (sometimes 3 or 4, sometimes 10) eventually, it corrects itself. Something is getting stuck somewhere, but I haven't tracked it down yet.

There is a box under the hood, against the firewall, which appears to be some sort of mixer valve, and the cable runs to that. Maybe yours is stuck. Mine isn't (at least not by outward appearance). I'd check to see if that moves when you turn the dial.

Otherwise, subscribed to learn more about what might be going on with mine.
