clear corners & turn signals - pics!

i know how much i love pic threads, figure you guys would like to see my newly installed burtman industries clear corners & turn signals -- theyre awesome!

i installed the orange bulb that came with jason's product in the corners, then went out and bought amber turn signal bulbs. im not sure that i want to keep the clear corners orange -- may reinstall the white bulb. let me know what you all think!

Me like!

I prefer the all white look, but some places have picky cops who will bust you for no orange bulbs/lenses. Not here in good ole redneck heaven Alabama though! YEE HAW!

Looks good lee! I run orange bulbs in my clear bumper lenses. I run clear bulbs in my corner lenses because they match my crappy headlights.

I think it comes down to preference. Which do you like better?

Looks real good! I like! Go with all superwhite bulbs in the turn signals, corners and headlights.

whats funny is, i really like the way the amber bulb illuminates in the clear corner, but i feel like it defeats the purpose of having clear corners, if that makes sense.

this coming week (if the rain EVER stops) ill switch in a clear bulb in one of them and see how it looks.

as for the turn signals, i had to put an amber bulb as i feel like the cops here would yank me over right away.

I run the ambers in the corners as well. I kinda like them too. I was going to switch out to clear, but the amber is growing on me.

Even with the amber bulbs (keeping it legal here) I think the amber looks are improved with the clear lens vs the OEM lens plus other Runner owners have noticed moine.

i got a comment on my clear corners at the gas station last night -- a guy with a 96 sr5 very base model was telling me how when he first got his truck, everyone was giving him tons of compliments on it and saying the 3rd gens were great. he said he hasnt gotten a compliment in a while and wants to upgrade to an 01 or 02... and said he loved my clear corners.

i gave him jason's site address & yota tech's as well, so hopefully we'll see him here soon so he can start spending tons of money too

You know what's funny is I didn't get comments on my Runner till I yanked the running boards off and since then I've also had several comments on the clear lenses from younger people and other Yota guys.

Yeah, I've gotten a lotta comments about my rig...but as you said, a lot more with the boards off. I would say atleast 10 people have asked me if I got a lift or bigger tires or somethin...and a couple of em were some really cute girls. They want me to take them mudding sometime soon...hmm...might have to take them up on that! Gotta love being in high school and bein in the country...hot girls that love to go muddin in big trucks!

Anyway...back on topic...I like the look of the amber bulbs that I have in mine, they're the ones that came with Jason's clear lenses.

Great pics LEE! So fresh, so clean... If you have any higher res pics of you can email me, do it!

I think it might look cool with the side grilles off. Try it and see how it looks and snap a pic for us.....

dbikeman, you have anymore pics of your front end you can send me? I'm re-doing the whole Burtman Industries site soon and need some more pics. It's going to blow you all away.
