I have a 98 sr5 4runner w/ chrome trim instead of the black fender flares, I found another runner about the same year for sale w/ stock black ones, my question is how much do ya'll think is fair for me to offer him to swap? He is only concerned about resale.Also, do ya'll think his paint would be damaged if he was to take his off? I know we could take them off to see......any opinions are appreciated.

 

Under the black matte SR5 fender flares he will more than likely have some scratching from where the flares have rattled on the paint as they don't ahve any kind of gasket between the flares and the paint. You'll have better luck getting a set from someone selling them and then doing the fender flare gasket mod in the tech forum on YT.
