chrome resto?

chrome resto?

i have a chrome tip on my exhaust and it is starting to turn goldish ( from heat i believe).... is there any product that will restore it to its shiny chrome self again?

will chrome polish make it shiny silver again?? doesn't that just shine it up?? does it get rid of the goldish and blueish colors from the heat???

I'm not really sure, but it wouldn't hurt to try. I can't think of anything else that would do it.

I ended up using an SOS pad on my exaust. You can also use baking soda and water on a rag.

No SOS IMO. Eagle One "Never-Dull" should handle it. Use the directions on the back o' the can. Pep boys or the like should carry it. Hit it once a month and youll be cool for ever.
