Well thats the best way I can explain it anyways. I have a '95 4runner and I am getting a chirping noise from the front right tire when under about 20 mph. The sound seems to match the the tires speed until I get to about 20 mph then it goes away. Anyone know what this is? I was thinking maybe a warped rotor?

I say wheel bearing or dust on the brake pad.

 

power wash the wheels and brakes to get all brake dust and sand out. My GF Land Rover did it for a few k miles after I replaced the front brake pads and then went away. I assume it was just the new brake pad dust, till the pads wore in a bit.

If your rotors are warped you should feel pulsing on the brake pedal while braking.

As mentioned might also be a wheel bearing, but it is probably your brakes.

 

alright ill try to get em the best i can but I have got em pretty good before with a pressure washer and still happens

 

Might be the brake pad wear indicator trying to let you know the pads are ready for replacing.

 

Maybe you ran over a bird..

I would say to jack up the front end and put one hand on the 12:00 and one on the 6:00 position on your wheel, then shake it. If there is play, then it could be your bearings.

If you have no play, then pull the tires, check the brakes and let us know what you find.

 

I thought it was the ball joints if it moves when you do that.
