chirp!

ok, so i got a belt changed on my runner last friday.. the drive belt. it was about time as i'd been using belt dressing to keep her quiet for some time now.

anyway, im not sure if its related, but when i start up in the morning (its cold of course), whenever i hit the gas (normal force, not slamming it or ˟˟˟˟˟footing it) it makes a quick, small CHIRP! real quick then goes away.

by the end of my 10 min. drive to work, it stopped.

any ideas? is it belt related?

yes sounds belt related. does the sound seem to run in sync with the rpms?

its too quick to do so.

its like youve just hit a tiny bird and it died almost instantly.

its just a little, quick, 1 second "CHIRP!" and thats it.
