Check Valve Location?

Ok, after inspecting the throttle body I noticed three hoses. The first hose is on the top of the throttle body and runs to the S/C right where it connects to the throttle body. The second hose runs from the front bottom portion of the throttle body to a steel line towards the firewall and the third hose runs from the rear bottom portion of the throttle body to the top of the engine cover. Is the the third hose where the check valve should be? I do not believe any hoses have a valve currently. Does anyone have the part number for the check valve? Should I cut the hose and install the check valve in the middle or does it install in one end or the other?

Hi;

This came up recently in another thread on the board. Using the SEARCH feature of the forum I found this thread:

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...0&pagenumber=3

That link will take you into the middle of the discussion, but page down to a post from "BlueTrane" dated 04-30-2003 08:35 PM. That's where it starts getting into the checkvalve issue.

If you go down a few messages from that, he posts pictures of the valve location. The number of the Toyota part is also in the message just above the one with the pictures.

Hope that helps!

Mark
