Nice Runner. I painted my clears too with a Japan spray. I did the exact same thing by masking off the white reflector. I ended up painting it all when I could see the light coming through the white when I braked...looked like reverse lights. I use Japan red bulbs to give it a brighter red look...looked pinkinsh with the clear brake bulbs.
