CEL Code: P0141

Hi-

CEL P0141-read Bank 1 Sensor 2 malfunctioning circuit heater...( or something close to that). Is this the rear 02 sensor and would my truck start/idle rough because of it? The 02 sensor before the Cat and the cat are new.

I have a 95 Tacoma 4x4 AT 130,000 mi.

Thanks!

unplug the sensors. if it's a 4 wire sensor, there are 2 wires the same color(white usually). that's the heater wires. with a DVOM on continuity check the 2 wires on the sensor harness. if continuity, sensor is good. if no continuity, it's bad. always better to double check and make sure it's the sensor and not the truck

Thanks for the replies. I searched both under the code and under O2 sensor and got back only a couple of hits.

Appreciate the response~

don't bother testing it. 130,000 miles, the code is real. I will (poop) bricks if it isn't.

the sensors die between 100,000 and 150,000 miles amost always
