CBI Rear Bumper Installed

And another off the truck (you can see the crossmember for the tow hitch here):

And another of the piece that runs under the hatch for JWaldz (I think that's what you were asking for). You can see pieces of tape I used to silence it from knocking against the snubbers for the stock spare tire, but I ended up just hacking the snubbers off so it wouldn't make noise. Note: It seems the later '99+ 4runners don't have the snubbers I'm talking about.

thanks brian for the gap shot.. Looks pretty minimal compared to other bumpers being made out there for 3rd gens. I sent Steve an email and he gave me the whole shake down on everything. This is what he sent back:
"The bumper alone as you described runs $699, a swing away to hold just the tire is $350, high lift jack holder is $35, and a single can carrier is another $125, these are bare metal prices, powder coating is another $100 for just the bumper and $150 for bumper with swing away. We only require a 50% deposit when the order is placed and the balance before shipping. Shipping is a flat rate of $85 for just the bumper and $145 for bumper with swing away."
The $699 took me by surprise for just the standard bumper especially when tarheel said it was $599. I'm not complaining, I know they do awesome work over there and I can see where the price comes from especially when the ARB bumper is $700 +/- new and those are mostly machine manufactured. Most of CBI's products are all manpower and hand built. Kudos to Steve and CBI for great products, I plan to get a bumper hopefully soon.

Sorry about the price difference JWaldz, that was what Steve quoted back in June and what I ended up paying but it sounds like Steve has gotten busier and adjusted the prices accordingly. The bumper is definitely worth the money and the wait, I think I like it a little bit more every time I see it on my 4runner!

Tarheel, bumper looks great. If I ever get around to getting an aftermarket rear bumper, I think I'd go w/ a CBI just like yours. And yeah, even at $700, that is still a good price.
